3/4RO has been creating a virtual gallery linking to their science unit Beneath our Feet. They have been building display boards to upload images of weathering and erosion. They also have started building igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rock samples. Information cubes have been placed around the gallery to give the audience information about their displays. The students have only had three lessons using the virtual technology program and they are doing a fantastic job!
3/4RO also have a challenge to research how Sawn Rocks (above image) in the NSW Mt Kaputar National Park was formed. These rocks have amazing hexagonal structures. How could they be formed so perfectly? Hopefully some students will find the answer and be able to present them to the class next week.
